Using the Bee Bots

Image
Today the children in Whio learnt how to program the Bee Bots. We learnt that the robots are only able to go forward, one square at a a time or do one quarter turn. The Bee Bots explore early computing and programming and teach control, sequencing, directional language and algorithms. Kyree, Justin, Euan and Juan had races to get from one point to another. First they programmed the route they wanted their Bee Bot to go. Then the tested their programming to see if we got to the point they wanted.

This is a High Five favourite.  These are the special children from Huritini who got an assembly certificate today! Well done :) These are the children who helped to present the assembly today.
