She Can Code

Image
Today, all the girls in the school gathered in the hall for a coding session. The children had a go at Scratch Jnr, Beebots, Box Island, the Beebots app and Kodable. This was a great opportunity for all the girls to get together and have a go at these different coding programs. They had a ball!

PMP week 3

We are loving PMP at the moment! We are practising to balance, follow intructions and use our memory, throw a ball under arm, use heal toe walking, hopping with 2 feet and many more skills! A huge thank you to the parent helps who are giving up their time to help us.

T13 Visit the Museum

What a wonderful day we had at the museum yesterday. The children enjoyed a walk around the museum first. We had a break for lunch and played on the incredible old trees. It was then our turn for the dinosaur talk. We learnt that in order to be a dinosaur the animal must: walk with straight legs, live on the land, have scaly skin and lay eggs. The highlight of the talk was that we got to hold a dinosaur fossil poo! Thank you so very much to all the parent helpers who came along. The trip was very successful and certainly would't have worked without you!

T11 abd T13 visit the Canterbury Museum

On Monday 14 May T11 and T13 were the fist of the Yr 0-2 classes to go on our museum trip. We were very lucky with the weather and had lots of fun! We learnt lots of very cool facts about dinosaurs. Did you know that dinosaurs only lived on the land? If they flew or swam it means they are not real dinosaurs- rather flying or swimming lizards! We also got to explore the museum in our smaller groups and saw lots of other interesting things. A huge thank you to the parent helps who gave up their day to come with us- you were awesome! Here are some of the photo highlights of our day below.
