Being helpful members of our community
During Term 1 we learnt lots about communities and what makes our Halswell School community so special.
We wanted to do something to be helpful contributors in our community, so we decided that would would make signs to help Mr Phill with the stone problem.
First we did some thinking and planning to come up with ideas of what the signs could say.
Then we worked in groups to write our message, thinking hard about the spelling.
Next we added some colour to make them eye-catching
The children were justifiably very proud of their completed signs
We love seeing these signs being displayed around school gardens this term!
