Kapa Haka with Matua Steve
We were so proud of the way the children listened and followed instructions during their first Kapa Haka lesson for Term 2.
Matua Steve is teaching us a waiata (song) which helps us learn colours, numbers, locations (up, down, in front, behind, etc) and weather terms (raining, warm, etc) all in Te Reo Maori!
The excellent participation and focus the children demonstrate is helping them to take in all this new learning.
