Shake out day

October 17, 2018

Today was Shakeout Day and we practised drop, cover, hold. We went under a table if there was one close by or we made the turtle. Tonight we are going to teach our parents and brothers and sisters. Here is the link to the Turtle Safe song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L-YAIjkhJo

Swimming

October 16, 2018

We have had a very successful start to swimming! Children have been very well organised, managing early starts, getting themselves dressed and taking care of their belongings. They have been challenging themselves to learn new skills and are all gaining confidence. We are all very proud of their efforts!

We had to say how many dots we saw on the card but we could not count them by ones! Look at all the different ways we added them together! Some of us even had 2 ways of working it out! Way to go team! We are really growing our brains and learning that there are so many different ways to do maths!
