Some classes made kindness rocks to celebrate World Kindness Day and left them out in the playground for chillden to find. It's easy to see the positive impact they had on us in Whio! Such joy!
We are celebrating World Kindness Day today with a compliment circle and complimats. Everyone in the room had a huge smile while receiving their compliments. What a special sharing time!
Thank you parents for all your efforts getting the children dressed up today for our Book Week assembly. They are looking great!! Check us out doing Jump Jam this morning!
The children look great in their costumes today! They confidently paraded around the hall during our whole school assembly this morning. We are looking forward to a day of Book Week celebrations. Keep posted for more photos...
We have been LOVING our Thursday morning art time! Today, each T group tried a new art project. T13 did weaving, T12 made mobiles and T11 made their little gardens. We are all looking forward to our last rotation next Thursday!
Today we had a visiting teacher read to us for Book Week. He read us 3 brand new books that won't be available until February next year. They were very funny! Don't forget your costumes on Friday! And remember that there is a book sale in the library all week.
Today as one of our Open Door Friday activities we took apart an old stereo. It was awesome to be able to use a screwdriver (and hammer!) to take things apart. We loved seeing all the electronic stuff inside.
